My name is Joanne and I would like to tell you how I got hooked on making "Musical Memories".
A few years ago I received a computer for Christmas. I had wanted one for years and was so excited to finally have one. I got on the internet, wrote letters, downloaded my photos and so many more things.
Three years ago I went to my son's wedding. It was a very small wedding, just family and no photographer. I had bought a new camera and made sure that I took all of the essential photos needed for a wedding photo album. The pictures turned out great and I was very pleased to give them to my son and new daughter-in-law.
One day I was looking into the programs on my computer and discovered that I had one that said it "made movies". This intrigued me and I began to take my son's wedding pictures and set them to music.
It was a task I entered into with a love of photos and music. It took quite a while to get it just right - the photos had to be in chronological order, special treatments to the photos were made to help them fit the words of the song. It was not going to be an "auto movie" with no thought process behind it. In the end I was elated to send them the movie that I still love to watch today.
To my delight, they absolutely loved it. I had given them a gift that was unique and very personal.
Needless to say, ever since then I have been making "Musical Memories" for my family and others.
